while raising indents... can the list remain open for as many items i want to add #50

I mean ... while adding items to indent .. once clicked on + .. the list disappears and then i have to click on the huge + again ... and add the item... can i add all the items in one go?

if it remains open then u have to go to the bottom of the logn list to click "save"/"raise"

Shifting the button to top looked inconsistent
