Error "The bless of the installer disk image failed." on Sonoma 14.3 #26

I'm trying to create an install image for OS X Mavericks (10.9.5) but it fails with the error in the title.

% sudo ./createinstalliso --isodirectory ~/vm/iso --applicationpath ~/Downloads/os-x-mavericks-installer-app/Install\ OS\ X\ Mavericks.app

WARNING: This tool has not been tested on macOS 14.3.
Creating disk image from installer image...
Copying installer files to disk image...
Making disk image bootable...
The bless of the installer disk image failed.

I'm dumb and I just realized that I opened this issue in the wrong repo.
