My issue (607) is different from this one (561). I don't understand why they
were merged, but I hope it helps.

I have a similar problem as defined here, no audio via bluetooth headset (in as
well as out) on my HTC Desire (2.2)

I can reproduce issue 607. Issue 561 is not exactly the same. 607 reads that
the Mic works but the headset does not receive audio. I have this problem with
original Moto Droid 2.2 and 1.6.1 beta.

Same thing for me with a Samsung GT-I5800 Handset (running Google Android v2.2
/ FW Rev. : I5800XXJP8) along with a LG HBM-235 Headset.
The above combination works great for regular Phone Calls, but while at
SIPdroid - there's only a single "beep" at the start & end of SIP Calls.
I've tried to apply the regarding tips ( at here :
http://code.google.com/p/sipdroid/wiki/Bluetooth ), but to no avail either :
the command "/system/bin/sdptool del 0x10003" only return the message "No local
SDP server!".
my phone's "/etc/bluetooth/audio.conf" content is as following (without the
comment lines) :
[General]
Enable=Sink,Control
Disable=Headset,Gateway,Source
Master=true
[Headset]
HSP=true
HFP=false
[A2DP]
SBCSources=1
MPEG12Sources=0
[AVRCP]
InputDeviceName=AVRCP

Same issue, no audio either direction using a Jawbone Icon, Droid, current
firmware and software. Icon is set up for A2DP.

I have a similar issue, I hear beeps at the beginning and end of the call, but
can't hear audio (not sure if mic works, since I am not sure if it is the BT or
the phone mic that is picking up). What I found is that if I click on Bluetooth
option twice, the audio starts working, this means there is an initialization
issue. However, this is not a good workaround (imagine stumbling for the small
options button and pressing the bluetooth option, twice in a row while driving).

No sound over bluetooth during SIP call using either (phone or audio) bluetooth
profile on Sony Erricson SE X10. Sound still comes through for GSM calls.

Grrrr, when my MW600 (only used for listening to music) is paired, Sipdroid
refuses to work - even if I disable the phone profile for the Bluetooth device.
Menu=>Bluetooth during a call does NOTHING.
What's going on? Sipdroid just went from highly buggy to completely unusable
for me :(

No idea why issue #1020 is any similar to this one, but anyway...
I am having possibly related issue:
1) On incoming calls bluetooth seems to be OK most of the times;
2) OTOH, when I make a call, initially I hear the dialing tones in the BT
headset, but as soon as the other party answers the audio is re-routed to the
handset.
When audio gets mysteriously switched from headset to handset I am usually able
to switch it back to the BT headset by selecting the BT icon in the sipdroid
menu exactly two times.
So if this bug cannot be resolved completely, I think a temporary solution
could be in duplicating this BT menu function as an additional button in the
sipdroid interface.
