I want to use the shapes theme which has 12 different styles (displayed at https://github.com/adi1090x/polybar-themes). How do I switch/change these styles?

you can change glyphs style in ~/.config/polybar/shapes/glyphs.ini !!!

Please elaborate, how can i switch between shapes styles. I have no idea on what to change in ~/.config/polybar/shapes/glyphs.ini :))
