So in general, why are commenting out the buttons instead of just deleting them?

Also, do you mind fixing the build? I spent a lot of time getting tests to pass. 😜

it might be nice to link to the sign up form whenever we say "sign up for the newsletter"—link is http://eepurl.com/jaugD.

@alanhdu: I was commenting the buttons out just so they could be easily plopped back in when the applications open. Removed. Also got the CI to pass yay.
