Thanks, helpful article. Previously I was paying $15/m to use the normal Ghost image on Google Cloud. Now it's $1/m as I'm still paying to keep snapshots.

the docker part is not working anymore. visit docker, ubuntu section and follow their instruction.

Thanks @victordetarragon, anybody else running into this problem can follow the install instructions here: https://docs.docker.com/engine/install/ubuntu/. I will try to update the post in the near future.

Just wanted to update that f1-micro's are no longer free. It has now been changed to e2-micro. https://cloud.google.com/free/docs/gcp-free-tier/#compute
