I haven't experienced a 10 per day rate limit on any of the free bots (gpt-3.5-turbo/claude-instant based). Which bots are these rate limits being applied on?
No, last week some guys @ POE tell me about member fee and then poe-api start error, have too many error then I change to use Canxin121's mod, it's not better but you should checkout https://github.com/canxin121/Async-Poe-Client

I have updated my comment with images, the rate limit is applied to every bot, even the free ones.
@RamyGomaa What region are you in? I have a feeling this may be due to some form of region-locking. Where I am in the USA there isn't a daily rate limit on free bots.

I'm From Egypt, I will try to create a new account with a VPN and I will keep you updated. Thanks for the information
this is what happened when I created a temp account using hola vpn, I gave it an Egyptian phone number to log in.
I don't know if it's going to get banned or not, I hope it won't

Not work with all account Viet Nam, Campuchia, USA, UK...limit 10 message per day. You see !

I have 5 accounts and now all of them can not send message. But tomorrow it will be reset. The bad news is I can't use poe-api, it's can't connect then I use browser only from last week.

I am not sure but I think this problem not relate to VPN or IP.

You know, due to poe-api's just have some error with header and socket then I register some account to test, now I have 5 account but useless.

So I assume this is a recent policy change with Poe which affects all accounts, not some sort of shadowban due to poe-api detection.
I just created a brand new account (no VPN, regular gmail address), and I was able to surpass 10 messages just fine. Presumably Poe implements rate limits on accounts they deem as suspicious?
That's also what I think. Let's see, maybe we get more data points. Seems not too hard to circumvent, when it happens, though.

This error doesn't mean that you exceeded the rate limit, it was a problem with their servers. if you exceeded the rate limit. you won't be able to send any messages. (You can go to the settings page to see your rate limits)
Your error happened to me yesterday for the accounts that have a rate limit and the ones that don't have a rate limit. I don't know if it was because I used a VPN, but after I used it, it broke all my Poe accounts even the ones that I opened in different browsers. But today they all work fine.

all my accounts now have rate limits except the one I created using a VPN in the USA, so I'm inclined to think it's a regional issue. I even created new ones without VPN and they also had rate limits, unfortunately.
The account I created using a VPN was a temp mail made with "EmailOnDeck" I don't have access to it now but I can send more than 10 messages without a problem with the FORM_KEY and CHAT_TOKEN I got from it. And it's not been banned till now

it looks like in the past it was 10 messages per minute, but now it's 10 messages per day. it's on every bot now, even the ones that you create.
is there a way to bypass this?
