i'd assume it's rather the device or shim, the geminilake audio drivers work on other devices perfectly fine (like fleex and vortininja) but not on my meep either even after doing a reinstall of the drivers so i doubt there is a fix, however bluetooth most likely would work but my own bluetooth speakers wouldnt show up in the bluetooth settings of my chromebook (if you cant access bluetooth settings try running sudo systemctl enable --now bluetooth.service
in a terminal)
bluetooth speakers work fine for me, although i did install blueman. its just the device speakers that are still all wonky
install of shimboot with the latest release worked on my meep and left audio works again
i would try reinstalling shimboot with the latest release
how did u make ur settings look like that and taskbar like that
kde moment
kde moment
how do you install that on shimboot
Kde Plasma - sudo apt install plasma-desktop
.
If you new to Linux its gonna be better to search for KDE Themes on YT.

Device audio only plays through the right speaker, and wired headphones do not work. Pulseaudio mixer shows multiple devices for sound (celeron/pentium silver processor high definition audio pro, 1, 2, etc), but only celeron/pentium silver processor high definition audio pro works
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Expected behavior audio plays out of both internal speakers or through headphones
