@cannibalox this should be available on latest nightly, please check and let me know if it works for you
thanks, great work :) current summary: | format | preview |
---|---|---|
.mp3, .wav, *.flac | works great | |
.aif/.aiff, .ogg, .ape | no preview | |
.mpc, .mid | shows the text editor instead of media preview |
not tested *.aac
so it works great overall.
requests :
enable an option for 'auto-play' on select/hover (so we can just use arrow up/down and it will auto-play the audio file, useful for quick browsing samples & loops)
enable a shortcut for play
@cannibalox I have improved in the latest version, let me know what you think. The other file formats will not be supported for now, it should work with anything that Windows Media Player can open.
auto play audio triggers but when an audio file is playing, it seems like it's now taking priority over everything else:
I need to test another desktop to check if I can repro the issues
auto play audio triggers but when an audio file is playing, it seems like it's now taking priority over everything else:
- while an audio is playing, I can't skip to the next track using up/down in the file list (seems like the track playing has to reach its end before any operation resumes)
- while an audio is playing, it seems search results are frozen/on hold/not being processed until the track reach its end
- I can't seem to use the track slider to move back/forward
- it feels unstable currently : FS often closes itself when trying to do something in FS while an audio is playing (ie, trying to skip to the next file or using the track progression slider sometimes closes FS)
I need to test another desktop to check if I can repro the issues
Thanks, probably due to Settings I didn't test with, can you send me your settings in Discord please?
I would love to be able to preview audio files with the native previewer. related formats : .wav, .mp3, .ogg , .aif/.aiff, .mid, .flac, .mpc, .ape
