@CepheiSigma can you screenshot the Task Manager? There is an issue with 22H2 that shows other unrelated processes under Fluent Search. How did you install Fluent Search? Store/Exe? Can you please try installing the nightly release and see if it still happens - https://install.appcenter.ms/users/adirh3-gmail.com/apps/fluent-search-alpha/distribution_groups/exe
@adirh3 ok got it, my Fluent Search was portable version,i will try nightly release, thanks
@adirh3 this problem seems not be sloved (here is screen-shot https://imgur.com/a/B4kOqqf ),may be recursive symlink will cause this problem?

Is that the file indexer process? You can check by closing Fluent Search through the system tray menu and see if the remaining process is the big one. Did you set indexing of network drives?
@adirh3 if i close Fluent Search, here is no process left which consumes huge memory. i can't change setting because Fluent Search prompts ‘Fluent Search still loading’. i try modify File.json to disable file indexer, but it doesn't work.

OK if you have only 1 process that means the indexer is not even running. Did it happen when you opened Fluent Search for the first time? Can you try erasing the Blast folder (which contains the Settings files) and see if it happens on clean startup?

after cleaning up Blast folder, it consumes more memory https://imgur.com/a/EYsSfIR
Describe the bug Fluent Search always prompts ‘Fluent Search still loading’ and it consumes memory of about 1GB-1.5GB
To Reproduce firstime to run
