Sync never ends #186

I just installed Tracks to test out the syncing. Tracks default setup to 
localhost:3000.
I initiated Synchronize from Shuffle. Shuffle had the demo tasks and two more 
that I had entered. Tracks was empty.
It went on and on for hours. I pressed back and logged into Tracks and only a 
few of the demo tasks had synced over. (Still missing, for example, the 
»Contact local charities«).
Maybe because they had a due date? Yes, that could be it—those who had synced 
over were the ones without due date.
Shuffle’s sync never ended. After about four hours, I gave up.

I have a similar issue,
sync won't stop if it can't reach the destination,

and
if there is no internet connection, sync won't stop either.

Same issue on HTC incredible.  At first I thought it had to sync that many 
times... but it seems to just keep going even if I have an internet connection.

Same issue tested in HTC Magic and Samsung Galaxy S. Both with Froyo official 
ROMs.
