This sounds like a great feature but I'm confused with the context filtering
thing.
Would it be simpler to associate a coarse location to a context? This way you
wouldn't need to switch between location, context, project, or whatever view. I
think.

yeah, I think associating a course location with a context is the way to go.
Only
you'd need a couple more requirements:
- Must be able to attach multiple contexts to a course location
- Must be able to "override" the contexts selection for your location

I think these feature could be useful in the next steps list. Actions
categorized as
"at home" will get a higher priority than "at work" actions when you're at home
and
vice-versa. The higher the priority of an action, the higher it is in the next
steps
list.

If this software is to be a satire of GTD, sure. For those of us anxious to get
things done, and willing to
pay for professional grade tools, I hope this app's developer pays more
attention to people who really
need robust, sophisticated tools to accomplish multiple, complex projects.

This would be so cool! - I'm always driving by walmart or some location on the
way
home - forgetting to stop in. This could vibrate or alert me when I
should/could be
doing something in the right context. As David Allen says “You never
remember that
you need toilet paper when you are at the store". At the very least it could
show
the context list based on where you are. Home, Work or Running errands
(anywhere but
home & work).
The iPhone guys have something similar with reQall
(http://blogs.computerworld.com/new_reqall_offers_location_based_reminders) and
OmniFocus (http://www.omnigroup.com/products/omnifocus_for_iphone/)

I need this, it's the only thing I miss from other apps.

For an inspiration how it could look/work for the user, openloopz has a nice
setup.

I miss this feature too. But none of the others seems to have come up with a
good UI implementation for locationawareness yet. The one in openloopz is slow,
unintuitive and really well hidden...

It would be nice to be able to specify when you are at a certain location
(context) whether it uses GPS to do it or not. I want this mainly so the
widget displays tasks in the right context. Or, when the user adds the widget,
you could give them the option of displaying a specific context. Then, for
example, I could have two widgets: one for home and one for work.

Probably, one of not so complicated solutions would be to develop plugin for
Locale/Tasker apps (their APIs are compatible) which would set appropriate
context in the Shuffle.
I.e. Tasker/Locale could robustly detect of user's current location and then
invoke Shuffle plugin with user-defined name of context. Similar thing was
already done for Astrid.

Hi, It would be also nice if not only a context will have a location, but also
a separate task could be assigned with a location. So I won't need to create
contexts for small tasks.
