Ideas for features of the site

keep adding ideas, links images whatever comes to mind about what you wanna see on the first version of the site. so we can get started and improve the site

ya Asana clone is a good idea, will be useful for Real-time collaboration during club events and registration too. what do you wanna make it with? i would like this feature to be there.

You can make a Meteor app for this. That's the easiest way of going it really well I think. It will be nice to have a members-only app on port 1234 or something.

As we were discussing, I will summarize my ideas in this comment.

It would be nice to have the ability to create objects of a set of primitive types and add them to lists.

The primitive types could be:

It will be very useful to have the ability of attaching metadata to objects in a List: it could be a number, string or a date/time. e.g. a list of participants can have a score metadata field, allowing you to sort the list by the score.

This general interface can be used to do a lot of things:

  1. A list with a Note and a List of Contacts could be used to maintain a list of SIG members
  2. A list with a Note describing the project and list of Notes describing tasks and lists of Contacts listing assignees can be used for projects
  3. A list of Contacts with score metadata field (number), and a slot metadata field (date/time) can be used during events.
  4. Keeping track of IE Library books

I am sure there are a lot more issues to discuss here still. Comment off.
