Describe the bug welcome message on top right shows "welcome user@email.com" instead of "welcome user"

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Log in with an account
  2. Observe the welcome message on top right of the navigation bar

Expected behavior It should show "welcome user"
