MAJOR ISSUES (NOT SYNCING OR RESCANNING) #186

Please make sure you have the latest ZecWallet.

Describe the bug I have the latest version of the wallet. I recently had a problem with a transaction not showing as arrived from exchange (Kraken). I posted on here, contacted Zecwallet twitter, as directed by Kraken after they told me it is showing successful and correct on the zecblock explorer.

I was told to uninstall and go back in fresh, restoring the seed of the wallet, and this would fix.

I have yet to see the correct full balance. It has yet to sync. It has yet to rescan. I know my holdings are showing correctly on the block explorer.

I just want to ensure my coins are safe. And to be able to have access to them.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to app
  2. See error

Expected behavior My wallet to work correctly. And to have some sort of dialogue with customer service via here or twitter until issue is actually resolved.

@elev83328 Are you using the desktop version of Zecwallet Lite or the mobile version?

Since you posted, there's been a new release to overcome various sync issues on desktop. Would recommend installing this release and giving it a new opportunity to sync: https://github.com/adityapk00/zecwallet-lite/releases/tag/v1.17.20

(If you're using the mobile app, import the seed to the desktop one.)

@BostonZcash I ended up trying the desktop version and it eventually synced and worked correctly. took a while to sync up, but eventually worked. and still nothing with mobile version.

looking forward to the new version of the mobile to drop. but my coins are safe. thanks so much !
