Provide a check sum of translated elements. Identify elements from the input file that did not translate to the destination file. Non-translated elements may be due to parity mismatches between standards and unsupported elements. This helps a user understand what and why some of their content does not translate. It can also be used to pinpoint errors in the translation resulting in dropped content, and conversely verify all expected content is accounted for.
Current testing procedures using pre-set input files may be useful in this implementation. Other ideas like embedded element paths as content may offer another solution. See Stakeholder meeting notes 2/8/22.
