Server is down ? unable to connect ? #1100

Dear xAPI-Spec software team provider, it seems that the server is down or limited. For example, when we click on the URL indicated in the sample or provided xAPI statements, it says "UNABLE TO CONNECT".

Would you please Please try this link for an example. It does not give the specification, which is needed. "http://adlnet.gov/expapi/verbs/answered"

You will need to notify ADL, https://adlnet.gov

In the meantime, I have found this resource from Torrance Learning to be a useful alternative when the ADL server is occasionally down: http://www.torrancelearning.com/xapi/profiles/tools/flattener/?name=adl&version=v1.0

Server is back up again. Thanks for reaching out! We are currently working on transitioning to a new server at https://profiles.usalearning.net/

Farbod29 commented 2 years ago

thanks for reply , @FlorianTolk now the server is up! but description which is in each URI is not exists as @jhaag75 shared a link.

For example for answer the description usually should be in URL itself.

answered Verb http://adlnet.gov/expapi/verbs/answered Indicates the actor replied to a question, where the object is generally an activity representing the question. The text of the answer will often be included in the response inside result.

or at list link to the description of each verb.

@Farbod29 the xAPI spec only says that an IRI can provide additional hosted metadata its not a requirement. In fact an IRI does not even have to be DNS resolvable and can be a URN like urn:test:1234:abcd.
