U+33C7 SQUARE CO (㏇) is expected to be rendered as "Co." or something like that, but Source Sans 3 renders it as "Ca".

This character is not in these fonts, so what you are getting is fall-back to some other font. This would be an issue in your fall-back font. The only fonts in the extended family that DO contain this character are the Source Han fonts, so if you need this character to show up correctly in the Source Sans style, please use Source Han Sans for these types of glyphs:
