TAB from layer name field should jump to the next layer name #2183

Currently TAB will jump to the Libraries menu. Renaming layers with TAB was an extremely useful JDI we added in standard - would hate to lose this one in DS.

Should only jump to layer name field IF already in a layer name field.

What do you mean by "renaming layers with Tab"? Tab with the select tool active has previously, and seems to currently, advance the selection to the next sibling. Can you be more specific?

Double-click a layer name to rename that layer, before you hit enter, hit TAB. In PS standard, this will activate the next layer name field (to rename).

OK. I don't believe we've ever done that in DS. I also didn't know about it in standard PS until now...

We have a bunch of really useful shortcuts that would be great polish additions. Some of them we added most recently and they were highly requested JDI's.

For example CMD click on layer expand to collapse/expand only the top level OPT click on a layer expand icon to collpase/expand all

We talked about this back with TR. I think this is the desired intended behavior:

While not in layer rename mode, Tab will just cycle focus through layers (based on hierarchy, i.e. stays at same nested level).
While in editing the layer name, Tab will jump to the next layer (at the same hierarchy level) and enter rename mode. (this should include all layer types whether locked/visible or not: pixel, text, shape, artboard, group, adjustment, mask?)
Background layers are exempt and need to be unlocked (which converts them to a normal layer) in order to be renamed.

There's no way this is happening for M3 due to extreme complexity.
