Search bar reacts strangely when resizing the application

When resizing the application, it appears that some odd things happen to the search bar:

• Unwanted Autocomplete occurs, but just the text and not the icon (artboards in this case)
• After resize hovering over the search bar will make the text do a weird transform or size change
• Only after deleting or clearing the search will it return to normal.

I suggest that we just dismiss the search bar when resizing the app frame. In a perfect world it would be repositioned, but that is not the world in which we live.
