Cannot connect to server #13

When hitting connect to server button I'm getting the following exception:

Server is configured with defaults with port changed to 4502. I tried it with both Luna and Kepler on java-7-openjdk-amd64 and java-8-oracle on Ubuntu 14.04 64bit. (also tried on windows 7 with Luna - works ok, but my dev env is ubuntu)

Hm, do you have any other entries in your error log?

@tenitram - I though we had fixed this ... just to confirm, are you running AEM Developer Tools 1.0.2 and Sling IDE Tooling 1.0.4 ?

@tenitram - can you confirm whether this happens all the time or just sometimes? /cc @gabrielwalt - I know you've seen this as well.

Hi, I updated AEM Developer Tools to 1.0.2 and still having this issue. It happens all the time.

Thanks for confirming. I'll have to add some tracing code and then ask you to install a dev build of the Sling IDE Tooling.

But... your question about Sling IDE Tooling 1.0.4 brought my attention to this plugin and it happened that I havent installed it at all. After installing it, connect started working. Maybe it can be configured to be dependency of AEM Dev Tools in Eclipse somehow?

Glad to hear it worked! You're right, we should make sure the dependencies are correctly set, filed #23 for that.
