Hello, I am a postgraduate student and I am writing an essay about open source projects. I would like to know about the community structure, the governance model etc. Is this possible? I would also like to contribute in the project in some way. (I don't know if I should have written this at issues, so I am sorry if I shouldn't.)

Is it possible to have some more information about the number of core team members/project leaders/users of brackets (in order to construct the onion model of the community)?
