Windows 8.1, v0.42 msi

@peterennis I tried to repro this and was UTR on Windows 8.1. Do you have any Windows themes installed like Window Blinds or anything or is this a plain, vanilla Windows 8 install?

Windows 8.1 32 bit

This theme installed: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/ireland-download-theme

Display adapter: NVIDIA GeForce GT 240

Just updates to 0.43 and the flicker is still there.
