hi @srishti-saraswat Could you please add the summary for the changes, why spring libraries required to be added to AEP connector. If there is requirement for addition of custom rest endpoint to the kafka connect you could use kafka connect rest extension - https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/KAFKA/KIP-285%3A+Connect+Rest+Extension+Plugin
