v3.4.1 core extension

Merges -- #74 -- #75 -- #76 -- #77
renames a JSON source file to JS so we don't have to deal with changing other platform tooling (from #77)
Closes -- #67 -- #60 -- #31

Motivation and Context

Customer requests from last quarter. Waited until blackout release was over.
