Kind of Platform (Windows 7 / Window Vista / Mac 10.6 / Mac 10.7 / Others)Adobe Fireworks CS6, MacBook Pro, OSx 10.8.2. 2.3 Ghz Intel Core i7, 4GB ram.
Problem Description
While crashing FW tries to recover files in the background and put them on the desktop in a folder 'Fireworks recovered'. It does make a new folder with files in it, but they are 33% of the time not valid. Fireworks can't open the file and throws an error "Could not open the file. An internal error occured.". Often the file that gets recovered is only 0kb or 233 bytes big.
What it should do instead
Recover the file nicely.
Steps to reproduce (if possible)
Not availible
Your workaround
[Not relevant] Use Fireworks Auto-Backup AIR application which makes a backup every once in a while.
