AdonWallet.v2.2.0-win.x64 on Win 10 64 error after install--0xc000007b #2

All windows 64 bit versions prior to 2.2.0 work fine in Windows 10 64 bit until I upgrade to version 2.2.0. Once the upgrade is complete and I try to run it I get the 0xc000007b image

I even tried clean install of the wallet with the same issue. I can, however, go back to the 2.1.0 64 bit insaller and that works fine.

I discovered a workaround to get 2.2.0 working:

  1. First backup the folder C:\Program Files\AdonWallet
  2. install the ADON 2.2.0 GUI wallet
  3. Restore all the files from step 1 back into C:\Program Files\AdonWallet EXCEPT AdonWallet.exe.
