Why this feature is required (specific use-cases will be appreciated)?

It is quite common that people who integrate with google might also need an integration for Outlook as well to allow them to make use of all the use cases that their users might have.

Have you tried any other work arounds?

Currently the way I am doing my Outlook integration is by going through all of the motions provided the Outlook docs

Are you willing to work on it with little guidance?

I absolutely am, I'm early on in my career and have wanted to work on something open source for a while and contributing to a technology that I use for work would be an awesome segue into that!
