Can I turn off the always on red LED? #207

I purchased the prebuilt Adonno reader and it works great but is there a way to control the always on red LED?

You can open the Reader and put a piece of black electrical tape on top of the LED .

Ok but is the LED hardwired to power or does it get its power thru a pin on the 8266? Also is it a programmable LED or just a red LED?

Unfortunately it's hardwired and not controlable. The board comes like that and i buy it like that. i didn't design the PN325
