4 years ago Minutes from Jan 22, 2020 meeting: • roundtable of attendees (thanks to all who could join in from the various companies and components), in future I will attach attendance list (as provided from Webex) as part of the minutes

• why this effort? in order to test the unofficial docker images and have criteria by which we can promote them to the official repo
• prioritize the order of the open PRs related to this, @james-crowley will refresh his PR https://github.com/AdoptOpenJDK/openjdk-tests/pull/1510 and it will be merged (today/tomorrow), followed by @sophia-guo 's PRs (https://github.com/AdoptOpenJDK/openjdk-tests/pull/1566, #1569).
• Still to come is a PR addressing https://github.com/AdoptOpenJDK/openjdk-tests/issues/1109 (@smlambert branch, but additional work off of that branch by @junyzheng - I will connect with him, and create a PR for review within the week)
upcoming changes in TRSS (https://trss.adoptopenjdk.net, https://github.com/AdoptOpenJDK/openjdk-test-tools): • why TRSS? be able to monitor multiple CI servers (right now, multiple Jenkins servers, in future support additional CI environments like Azure Devops) and represent test results in an summarized view • menu updates (https://github.com/AdoptOpenJDK/openjdk-test-tools/pull/166) • ability to search for related issues (https://github.com/AdoptOpenJDK/openjdk-test-tools/pull/170) • ability to add comments to release pipeline (https://github.com/AdoptOpenJDK/openjdk-test-tools/pull/172) • WIP (due before next release cycle): Test summary page which includes a 'convenience button' that will create a release pipeline report for open git issues (https://github.com/AdoptOpenJDK/openjdk-test-tools/issues/169)
upcoming TKG changes (https://github.com/AdoptOpenJDK/TKG): • Generate makefiles on the fly (https://github.com/AdoptOpenJDK/TKG/issues/25), one of the steps in order to enable 'smart parallel' testing (https://github.com/AdoptOpenJDK/openjdk-tests/issues/1563) • next steps, additional cleanup of TKG to take even less disk space
test doc overhaul: • very WIP draft work of test doc overhaul, requires an update to include all changes listed above, once moved out of draft state, will ask for many reviews (https://github.com/AdoptOpenJDK/openjdk-tests/pull/1556)
future meetings: • stick with this day and time, have meetings recur bi-weekly • share schedule and info in test documentation & slack • track agenda and minutes in GitHub, tag with AQAvit Meeting label • meeting recordings will be posted publicly and linked to from meeting minutes when they are up
