ACTION: most of the test failures listed above can pass on test-sxa-armv7l-ubuntu2004-odroid-2 but in most cases on no other arm_linux machine in our pool, check if other arm_linux nodes can be comparable and if not, consider removing them, as when tests land on them, they will fail.

ACTION: jdk_jfr has some test cases that can not pass on this platform and in fact causes crashes, exclude those testcases and ensure its reported upstream (related: https://github.com/adoptium/aqa-tests/issues/3301).

ACTION: jdk_net has testcases that have not shown to pass in Deep History which will need exclusions and an issue in the appropriate location (upstream or infra).

ACTION: hotspot_jre failures seem suspect, they are gc/g1/* testcases and some output indicates they may not be valid (need to check and why are they not in the upstream ProblemList if so) but some output gives this warning: OpenJDK Client VM warning: G1 GC is disabled in this release.

Tests conplaining OpenJDK Client VM warning: G1 GC is disabled in this release. are using option -XX:+UseG1GC, which should be excluded for jdk8 arm. See other projects mentioned https://github.com/openhab/openhab-distro/issues/17. JBS also issued G1GC tests should be excluded from execution on JDK-on-ARM-hf , which was closed as it opened an issue in codetools. No progress on codetools , might not be a good or correct proposal.

Those gcg1 tests are skipped on jdk11+ arm as since jdk11+ new vmproperties has been added , which is required if gc is supported and selected. https://github.com/adoptium/jdk11u/blob/master/test/jtreg-ext/requires/VMProps.java#L283-L289C6,

Based on those information those tests should be excluded for jdk8 arm and for us the easy way is to use problemlist.

re: https://github.com/adoptium/aqa-tests/issues/4679#issuecomment-1659122942 thanks for investigating @sophia-guo. Given that information and a clean run of jdk_jfr, we will release arm_linux (with several actions we will have to do post-release, including excluding gc/g1 testcases).

gc/g1 issue also see https://github.com/adoptium/aqa-tests/issues/3297, which happened before. Will exclude them and close https://github.com/adoptium/aqa-tests/issues/3297
