With ITW 1.8 dead only for security updates, and a lot of work done in ITW 2.0, and considering it as stable, it wasould be awesome to have nightly or after-commit/after tag builds of itw.
Comapre: https://github.com/AdoptOpenJDK/IcedTea-Web/releases/tag/icedtea-web-1.8.3 and https://github.com/AdoptOpenJDK/IcedTea-Web/releases/tag/icedtea-web-2.0.0-alpha13
ITW pom files are able to generate stnadalone binary tarballs, which can be safely published.
The windows MSI was not tested for a while, but should work too (via cigwin). The non-maven libraries (wix, rust, cargo...) are same as libraries for ITW 1.8. I will happily help on side of ITW.
