It's not unrelated. But Talo covers more ground. It also handles other document formats like RFCs (and custom document formats that the user may want to define). It also has some added functionalty like listing ADRs with statuses and exporting them to HTML. So, it's not really a "rewrite" of adr-tools
as such. But if you would rather put it under that umbrella, feel free to do so :)
Thank you for the explanation. The README.md file was 80% on ADR commands, therefore, I wondered. Trying out the tool is on my TODO list.
