Does playbook have an API which rotates images?

Is it possible to rotate images via the native image viewer on the playbook?

choiboi commented 12 years ago

No, there are no APIs in BlackBerry WebWorks which can rotate images. Also, it seems that you can't rotate images using PlayBook's native image viewer.

I guess it makes sense for the user to rotate their playbook instead.

Oh wait! If you think about it, rotating without orientation lock will still won't allow anyone to view image in the right orientation.

User would have to tild head or lock orientation and rotate actual device
