we need more informations for diferentes mitosis: videos, images, animated gif, text, etc..
whatever you have on the subject, upload to this issue, it can be useful for us.

created a repo to hold data separately, hopefully it can be used in other projects and expanded beyond this project's scope https://github.com/ege-del/bio-db I'll write a Python script to integrate it into mitosis.picture soon.

Hi @ege-del First of all thank you for what you are doing. The original idea was to use this repo --> https://github.com/breck7/CancerDB as the database of this visual site. But no problems with your idea, create the database in your repo and let's see how it works. Later talk again about that and decide together with @breck7 what is the best option.

Thanks so much!

Thank you ! I think @breck7 is focusing on text based cancer data, similar to pldb.com, so I assumed there will be no image data there. He also mentioned (on the original discussion page) not wanting any text on mitosis.picture so he wont use text data from CancerDB also.

If I misunderstood I'll transfer the data to @breck7, it is better to have all the data in one place !

sure, this repo Visual-CancerDB it's born with the idea to became the visual part of the CancerDB. I think this is the @breck7 plan. I put a title and a description in the visual site because I believe people using the site will want more information. But it would be great if we can lift this data from the site that does not have images and  let two sites be linked in this way. I think we try to do the best for the people to access the visual and text data the easy way.

Yes @ege-del CancerDB will be almost all text tabular data (with some images, similar to how PLDB has images where appropriate).
