cannot loop play in firefox #127

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
I installed mplayer and gecko-mediaplayer for firefox to play videos in Ubuntu
10.04.

using embed lable:

<embed nocache=0 showlogo=false id="avi7f0f536ac13d44439ca06301360ad758"
type="application/x-mplayer2" width=740 height=580 left=0 top=0 autostart=1
showcontrols=false showtracker=false showbuttons=false showfsbutton=false
loop=true
src="/imworld/mplayer/7f/mplayer7f0f536ac13d44439ca06301360ad758_loong.asx">;

and the asx file is following:

<ASX Version="3">
<REPEAT>
<ENTRY><REF
HREF="file:///var/www/imworld/mmov/a5/mmova53107ec47b89607092b9b109063.wmv"/></E
NTRY>
</REPEAT>
</ASX>

The question is the video cannot loop play, it just plays once and stops.

How can make gecko-mediaplayer loop play?

What versions of gecko-mediaplayer and gnome-mplayer are you using?

I believe this problem might already be fixed in 1.0.0 of gecko-mediaplayer.
However, you will need to upgrade to gnome-mplayer 1.0.0 as well, as there was
an API change. I have not tested it, because of the work needed to setup the
test case. But if you still have problems, I will look into it more.

I decide trying to add as following code after line 529 in file plugin.cpp:

argvn[arg++] = g_strdup_printf("--loop");

But I have not tried yet.
Do you think it will tackle the problem I am facing?
