Train, test, and validation:

  1. For NARROW CMD cube around RC (go in very center of RC)--hope cmd avoids intense extinction
  2. Use all 55 + 55 coefficients + G-J ---> error bar (mean flux over error)
  3. Train on 8-fold testing thingy4.
  4. MAKE validation figs* on APOGEE
  5. Run on all XP spectra in neighborhood
  6. Make figs* for XP spectra
  7. Outline paper
  8. Science case: make abundance maps better than Keith

Technical things APW needs to resolve:

  1. Current likelihoods assume diagonal cov. matrices for labels and xp
  2. switch to f params from APOGEE
  3. don't believe f param uncertainties: assess noise params of f param (we dont need our noise model to be correct, we just need it to be responsible -Hogg)
