Impossible to read sms from short numbers such as bank verification codes #780

1. Go shopping on internet
2. Pay by credit card
3. Your bank sends you a sms containing a code you need to type in order to 
secure the transaction

A notification should appear so you could open the sms and read the code. 
That's what happens with the default Adrooid application "sms".

Actually, with Smsdroid, nothing happens. You can't receive any sms from banks. 
Seems that's it's likned to the fact of short sms numbers.

Tested on SmsDroid 1.4, with Android 2.2

in fact i got all the sms from all my banks until now.
but youvcould provide the device logs after getting such message agein. i could 
check it.
