2. while doing so, be inadvertant for just a second

The draft is sent prematurely.
What version of the product are you using? "Last" is not appropriate.

The "update" and "choose connector" buttons should be hidable as well (and
accessible by other means instead), in order to hide the entire button bar when
empty. Especially on small devices, that's a matter of valuable screen estate
occupied by elements that are useful very occasionally, only.
