SMSdroid: Can not remove/change default sender

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Open an existing thread
2.Click on send
3.check the box "use as default"
4.choose a sender

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
There should be a way to reset the settings.

What version of the product are you using? "Last" is not appropriate. Make
sure you tell at least which app you are using. On what operating system?
SMSdroid 1.5 fdroid.

Please provide any additional information below.

this is android system behavior and can be changed in android system: settings 
-> apps -> whatever-app-you-chose-to-be-default -> remove defaults

Ahh, the one that should be cleared is the chosen app. What I did was I cleared 
smsdroid.
