ActionMode to delete multiple threads/messages at once

Hello,
I am trying to use SMSdroid as my primary sms app, but i think that its 
functionality miss one important option. Currently it is not possible to delete 
several messages in one dialog at once, only one by one or whole dialog.
Is it possible to implement the changes to SMSdroid? For example in a dialog's 
menu to add a "delete" button and if tapped it will be possible to select 
several messages and then delete them at once.
I had saw this kind of behavior in official sms app for Samsung Galaxies phones.
