Option to change type of text input field in SMSdroid #850

Some keyboards show different layouts if a text input field is flagged as SMS 
input field, like it is probably in SMSdroid. Swype for example is in this case 
showing a special key for smileys instead of the carriage return. Making this 
SMS flag optional in SMSdroid would give the user a choice to force the 
standard layout in his preferred keyboard.

I'm using SMSdroid 1.5.1 and my Phone came with Swype 1.5.17.20683 
preinstalled. In my preinstalled SMS App Swype is showing the carriage return, 
in SMSdroid I have no chance to get a carriage return with Swype.

I think I changed this behavior already a few times fore and back. :x
Maybe a setting is the best choice.
