Using advanced catalysts, one can produce methane (CH4) from carbon dioxide (CO2). Methane is easy to store and transport. Furthermore, using advanced catalysts, one can produce methanol (CH3OH) from methane (CH4).

The important idea here is finding the right form to store and transport carbon.

Three pathway catalyst processes suggested:
