Carbon capture with ocean thermal energy #3

Greg Rau has a brilliant idea:

  1. Pump up cold water from the ocean
  2. Use the temperature difference between the cold water and the warmer surface to generate electricity
  3. Capture carbon dioxide at the surface and produce hydrogen
  4. Use hydrogen as fuel source
  5. Let the waste product - bicarbonate - swift down the ocean and counter act acidification

Combine with flying drones network

This idea is also nice because such energy and capture systems can be built by flying drones, who use the energy source to build more energy system and capture systems. Which again gives them more energy. Humans can benefit from the system, but it could be primarily used to clean up the environment.

Imagine a network of energy stations across the sea, which the drones follow and spread the system out like a fractal. The energy requirements of drones combined with the production capacity at each station must balance, such that the speed and distances fit together. Could be tested in a simulation.
