@dbieling I can't seem to replicate this locally. Can you confirm that the theme has the latest updates?
Hello, I also have the same issue with newly added posts. My Wordpress and ALPS deployment is from 2019 and I always had this issue. Can you please help?
@ptdasilva and @dbieling: Can you confirm this is a problem with the newest version of the ALPS for WordPress theme, version 3.0.34
?
I updated the theme today, (as mentioned in #422 i can update the theme every 5 minutes), but with version .34 should be the newest version installed. And the problem exists furthermore, or advanced even more. (In June 2019) i observed this behavior only on posts and publications, which were published for archive-purpose. (with an publishing date of 2018 or earlier. But with new posts the date was correct. But now, the whole site is labeld with this specific date. Yesterday, i moved the website to online-status, even with a lot of bugs remaining. You ca visit it: adventgemeinde-lahr.de. Click on the startpage on one post, and you will see the wrong date. Or click "mediathek" and click on a sermon (via Serman manager) The same wrong date is shown.

I'm trying to reproduce the bug on my local environment. And have no luck. @dbieling could you give me temporary access to your hosting, to test on real data? Or do the mysql database dump, so I'll debug locally. I think something wrong with date structure in db.
Thanks for your responds: Unfortunately, i cannot give you access to the live-host. I share with you the dumb: TO access the link, you should fetch this information: (Its only one time accessible. https://onetimesecret.com/secret/86ezzuptivyhz0cw4459ig304m3d8nk

@sergsadovyi I had a similar problem happen on another site, recently. We have a site using WPML and the English version has the correct date displayed, but the translated version has a January 1970 date showing. I don't know if @dbieling has the same setup, but for us, that is the issue.
I believe you can reproduce this with WPML installed.
I am using it for a german site. I am not using WPML, but however, another language, thats true.
Hello,
I have the same issue and my site is in Portuguese, although dates are displayed in English (including date format) so perhaps that’s the issue? Kind regards,
Paulo Silva

This is fixed in ALPS for Wordpress 3.5.4
and was fixed by #504. If you have other issues @ptdasilva / @dbieling please open a new ticket.
For all Posts, created before somewhat before August or July 2018, template always past the date: January 1, 1970.
For Current Posts, this behavior is not recognized.
