Can churches sign up for their own accounts? and if not, is there a way to tag fees by church, so churches are billed for usage by main account holder?
Ideally they would not need to create their own Twilio accounts etc as is done now in HQ. Instead it would just use our account and we would track usage. We could either a) charge monthly based on usage b) have a monthly charge with a max quote.. e.g. every team can send up to 10,000 SMS for $5/month or something like that. c) don't charge them d) ..
I'm in favour of option B - to be charged to HQ - too difficult/time consuming to work with option A (cost recovery from local churches).
Alternatively, charge to AUC, group by HQ/Team and we can work through cost recovery.
Kind regards
Marketing Lists and Team Apps in the HQ have now been hidden from the menu in preparation for their eventual move to Hub. (This will be released either today or on Tuesday 13th Jun)
If [B] is the voted option for the costing model, could there be freebie 10,000 sms's as an enticing hook to get teams to use the feature? Obviously when you open that up to all churches in Australia you might be looking at covering the cost of 500,000 sms's as a freebie.
To avoid duplication of features between the Hub and HQ (another discussion) the marketing features should be moved into the Hub.
This raises the question of how billing for sms services for example should be passed on to churches.
SMS services could be used for purposes other than marketing
