6 years ago ROBBIE: have a span option that operates similar to the margin editing where you click on a widget & (on a full width screen) you have the option for the widget to cover full width, 2/3rds, 1/2 or 1/3. By default it would be dependent on the number of columns you had but then if you had 2 columns of widgets you could leave them at the default 1/2 - 1/2 or modify to 1/3 - 1/3 (leaving a 1/3 blank), 1/3 - 2/3 or 2/3 - 1/3
and similarly if you had a single column, by default it is full width but then you could also change it to be 1/3, 1/2 or 2/3.
1/3 and 2/3 split and vice versa. Currently its halfs only for two widgets.
