Process speed via CPU #278

Hello,

Is running via GPU going to always be more faster than CPU? I do not have a GPU for my server and am only able to run via device=cpu. I noticed it takes about 20-30 seconds to complete the command/task for me.

My CPU is: Intel 2.60GHz 12 cores.

If running via GPU is more faster than CPU, is there a way for those who have to run via CPU to be more faster? Is there a specific CPU speed that would be ideal?

20s is weight too slow for one image.
