[Suggestion] (Mini)map Terrain Overlay

Hi,

its sad that the minimap doesn't show buildings and other changes. How about a mod which shows a "real" map of the surroundings.

• on hotkey: create an simplified aerial image of the surroundings
• insert in Minimap/Map below pins
• option: width x height or radius
• option: auto refresh after x hours

Its better then suggestet, but ...

• build blocks above water are ignored
  • i have an isle expanded with a plateau
  • only the blocks above the old island are shown
  • how about include all up to 2m below water
• could you add an option to set the shades of green shown
  • i would like to reduce them to get sharper contours

it's not ignored over water, but water is shown on top of the map I guess.

You can change the colors in the config file

color option is not was i meant!

• currently my building is a mix of different strong green pixel, which results for me in a blurred view
• what i wish is an option to reduce the possible color steps to create a better constrast
• e.g. 0=default, 1=off/full, 2=off/half/full, ...
