Configurable Shortcuts #5

Omnibar is exactly what I was looking for since Apple introduced extensions to Safari. Thank you for providing it!

The only thing I miss is a possibility to configure the shortcuts and the search engines and not only the default search engine. So f.e. I'd like to add a shortcut for the german wikipedia. I had just a quick look on your code. But I think, if it would be possible to configure the array ENGINES (in omnibar.js) it would be really great!

Kind Regards, Pascal

this would be a great addition as i'd like to use Yubnub.org to search.

Hello, sorry, i missed this message from my mailbox. Will try to make this feature.

ghost commented 12 years ago

It would be an awesome feature! By the way do you have a flattr-Button?

klickreflex commented 12 years ago

This was exactly THE feature I was hoping to find right after I installed omnibar. It's already a really useful add-on, but with configureable shortcuts it would be awesome and let me leave Chrome for good!

nice work, but one request: to choose NO search engine at all... Since safari 6 with the combined google+addressbar is my problem accessing local webpages. i need to force http:// before or a slash behind to make safari not search as keyword but open as local domainname. I hope your tool can disable searchengines complete and make the searchbar an addressbar again :-) thank you!!
